Soros to Come to Bratislava to Discuss EU Policies on Roma Inclusion

Bratislava, October 19 (TASR) - Philanthropist, financier and founder of a network of Open Society Foundations George Soros will come to Bratislava on October 20 for a two-day visit, TASR was told by Barbara Horvathova from the Foundation on Tuesday.

Soros will take part in an expert discussion concerning the challenges of the common EU policy aimed the Roma communities. The guests will also include Christian Democrat (KDH) MP Anton Marcincin, project manager for Roma education and inclusion Janette Maziniova and general director of the Social Development Fund Marek Hojsik.

The world-famous figure of Hungarian origin will also appear on news-only television channel TA3's daily discussion programme in the evening, where he will mainly speak about the social inclusion programme for the Roma minority.
