Bratislava, October 13 (TASR) - The minimum wage in Slovakia should increase by 3 percent, rising from the current €307.70 per month to €317, the Government decided at its session on Wednesday.
A compromise 3-percent increase was proposed by Labour Minister Jozef Mihal after the social partners (Government, employers and trade unions) failed to reach agreement in early August. A decision had to be made by October 20 in order to for the measure to be valid in 2011.
