Slovak Companies Interested in Investing in Ukraine

Bratislava, October 10 (TASR) - Slovak companies are investing millions of euros in Ukraine, mainly in the construction and engineering industries, air transport and mineral waters.
According to Andrea Gulova, interim head of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), Ukrainian investors, in turn, thus far haven't shown particular interest in Slovakia.
"Ukraine isn't a country with massive investments in Slovakia, they're more interested in finding an appropriate partner company in Slovakia in which they can acquire capital," she said.
"Our mutual trade was increasing in the past few years, but it slumped by 50 percent in 2009, in part due to the crisis," she said.
