Bratislava, October 5 (TASR) - The four MPs from Freedom and Solidarity's (SaS) faction called Ordinary People want the Coalition to act more responsibly, not to raise doubts in society about the Government's ability to steer Slovakia clear going down the same track as Greece, reads an open letter addressed to Prime Minister Iveta Radicova, ministers and chairmen of Coalition parties.
The authors of the letter state that they don't want to sit back and watch the chaos "which has prevailed here for months".
"A majority of Slovaks, in free and democratic elections, gave our Coalition a mandate to govern. Intensive, decisive and convinced steps were expected, however. So, get rid of all the quarrels, put your heads together, agree on solutions and come in front of the media only with the definite version," reads the letter. Ordinary People criticised the way in which one day somebody announces something, the next day they correct it and on the following day all of it is denied.
According to Ordinary People, various positive things have already been done by the Government, especially when it comes to the fight against corruption. "But anything good we do disappears in the eyes of the public into a heap of quarrels, dubious decisions and their eventual abandonment," claim Igor Matovic, Erika Jurinova, Martin Fecko and Jozef Viskupic.
