Slovak Labour Unionists Taking Part in Brussels Protest

Bratislava, September 28 (TASR) - Representatives of the Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) has left for Brussels to take part in the European demonstration against cuts in national budgets set for Wednesday.
According to the trade unionists from across Europe, all these cuts are at the expense of employees and citizens of individual EU countries. A 52-member KOZ delegation has joined the demonstration, representing a Slovak labour union base of 360,000 members. They request job security and social justice.
The trade unionists are running the demonstration in Brussels under the rubric European Action Day.
