Bratislava, December 15 (TASR) - The SkyEurope Airlines bankruptcy administrator on Monday submitted to Bratislava I District Court a proposal to cancel bankruptcy proceedings against the company, TASR was told by the court's spokesman Pavol Adamciak on the same day.
The administrator, Lubomir Bugan, said that the reason for this is that SkyEurope doesn't have enough property. A complete list of property and obligations was published on Monday in the business registry.
"The court will decide on the proposal after it is examined along with the existing evidence, while there is no legal deadline for a decision on the proposal," said Adamciak.
The airlines' bankruptcy proceedings began at the beginning of September of this year after the company announced that it had gone bust. The first to learn of this move was the Austrian stock exchange where the company was registered. SkyEurope unsuccessfully attempted restructuring several months before bankruptcy was announced.
