Bratislava, September 18 (TASR) - The right-wing extremists on Saturday organised a march to the statue of Prince Svatopluk installed at the Bratislava Castle's courtyard.
The purpose of the march called a 'National March to the Statue of King Svatopluk II', organised by Folks Party Our Slovakia (LS NS), is to "unite all Slovaks and Christians who are not indifferent to the fate of traditional Slovak and Christian symbol: the double-barred cross".
"The aim of this event is to show that we - the patriots and nationalists - are proud of our history... And also to show all those parasites whom we feed in the Parliament with our taxes that we won't be broken by political witch-hunt nor by political bullying and police brutality," said main organiser of the march Marian Misun.
However, the extremists didn't manage to get to the Bratislava Castle's courtyard, so the gathering moved to a nearby Zamocka street. Both LS NS chairman Marian Kotleba and his fellow party colleague Marian Misun delivered their speeches, focused on current political situation in Slovakia.
