Police Arrest Female Suspect in Bomb Scare

Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) - A 45-year-old woman was arrested by police and brought in for questioning in the district of Levice (Nitra region) on suspicion that she made the anonymous phone calls that led to the evacuation of the seats of the Interior Ministry, the Supreme Court and the Prosecutor-General's Office, spokesman for Bratislava Region Police Corps Frantisek Peczar told TASR on Thursday.
Bomb threats were made on Thursday morning concerning the buildings of the three authorities in Bratislava. All of them were later found to be false, however.
Police also found the woman's mobile phone that was used for the threats. "Further investigation will show if the suspect is also the perpetrator here," said Peczar.
