No Bombs Found at Prosecutor-General's Office or Elsewhere

Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) - Bomb threats were made on Thursday morning not only concerning the buildings of the Supreme Court and Justice Ministry, but also the headquarters of the Prosecutor-General's Office in Bratislava. All of them were later found to be false, however.

Prosecutor-General's Office spokesperson Jana Tokolyova told TASR later in the day that the police have finished searching for explosives on the premises, but didn't find any.

"The employees of the Prosecutor's Office will be probably allowed to re-enter the building," said Tokolyova.

An anonymous person announced shortly after 9 a.m. that a bomb had been placed in the building. Around 120 employees of the institution were immediately evacuated.

Meanwhile, spokesmen of the Justice Ministry and the Supreme Court, Peter Bubla and Michal Jurci, respectively, told TASR that the bomb alerts at their two institutions were over, with the information found to be false. The employees who had been evacuated were allowed to return to their desks.
