Bratislava, August 25 (TASR) - SDKU-DS MP Tatiana Rosova has become the joint candidate of four centre-rigtht parties SDKU-DS, the Christian Democrats (KDH), the Civic Conservative Party (OKS) and Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) for the post of mayor of Bratislava Old Town, TASR learnt on Wednesday.
"An agreement has been reached between these centre-right parties. We are copying the coalition at the national and regional level," said Bratislava region governor Pavol Freso (SDKU-DS) at a press conference, adding that talks are also pending with Most-Hid on joining the coalition.
Rosova thinks that this coalition has the best chance of success in Old Town [which is a traditional stronghold of the Right in Bratislava - ed. note].
Among Rosova's plans, if elected, is to ensure that people feel more at home in their local area than construction developers.
"We still haven't discussed our joint programme, every party has its own ideas. We've agreed that we'll form a pool of ideas from which we'll create the best programme possible," Rosova told TASR.
