Due to ongoing flooding, final costs of the flood-relief work cannot yet be determined. The final numbers will be included into the report about the development and impact of floods, which will be submitted by the Agriculture, Environment and Interior ministers.
So far, the calculation of the damage caused by the floods cannot be closed, according to preliminary data, the amount could be between €600-650 million. Of this amount, €250 million represents the damage on the state assets and €325.8 million on the property of the towns and villages and its inhabitants.
The state has already allocated €25 million to areas affected by the floods in late May-early June, of which €22.5 million has already been distributed to people.
