Bratislava, December 13 (TASR) - Online auctions belong among the most popular ways to buy goods and services via the internet abroad and it seems Slovak internet-users are as well becoming fond of this kind of purchase, according to a poll carried out by TNS SK agency in October and published on Sunday.
The survey shows that 30.4 percent of Slovaks who also do shopping via the internet has already experienced online auctions. About one-fifth of respondents has already bought more products this way, while about one tenth of them has only taken part in it once. Another third of internet-shoppers stated that they would like to try out internet auctions in the near future.
When asked about online-auction websites, respondents were mostly mentioning aukro.sk (almost 50 percent), onetwosold.sk (10.1 percent) and aukcie.sk (9.4 percent). About a third wasn't able to recall any online-auction portal.
