Bratislava, August 2 (TASR) - Prime Minister Iveta Radicova has told Parliament that all lawmakers of the ruling coalition have pledged unequivocal support for Government's Manifesto ahead of the vote in the House on Tuesday which is tantamount to a vote of confidence.
She was speaking after meeting the MPs from the four governing parties in the legislature's screening room.
The Igor Matovic-led faction, which threatened to retaliate for not having all of their priorities put on the manifesto by leaving the caucus of their Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party, is also supporting the government's updated programme.
Chairman of Parliament Richard Sulik said he has prepared for a scenario in which opposition Smer-SD will filibuster the debate on Government's programme, saying that he may cut their speeches to ten minutes if necessary and finish debates by 7 p.m. rather than letting them last until the wee hours.
