Bratislava, July 31 (TASR) - It will be possible to ensure that the Forum of MPs of the Carpathian Basin (FPKK) won't become a permanent institution of the Hungarian Parliament, Foreign Affairs Minister Mikulas Dzurinda has told TASR.
"I plan to hold a constructive and positive dialogue with Budapest to move on forwards and introduce a more friendly atmosphere into the talks," said Dzurinda.
He also appreciated the planned initiative of Most-Hid Chairman Bela Bugar, who will ask the Hungarian Parliament to cancel the resolution that made the FPKK subordinated to it. According to Dzurinda, Bugar made a "very clever and responsible statement".
The Foreign Affairs Ministry rejects creation of institutional relations between a foreign state and Slovak citizens without any prior agreement with Slovakia. Furthermore, Iveta Radicova's Government also emphatically rejects any violation of Slovakia's sovereignty.
