Bratislava, July 31 (TASR) - Former President Michal Kovac showed big interest in current developments on the Slovak political scene, Prime Minister Iveta Radicova (SDKU-DS) told reporters after visiting Kovac at the Neurology Clinic in Bratislava's borough of Kramare on Saturday evening.
The premier said that the president's state of health has improved and he was able to communicate with clear mind.
"In a cross examination I got questions concerning (current developments in) Parliament, Government, what's going on inside SDKU-DS, and co-operation with the coalition partners," said Radicova, quipping. She added that during the debate there was only little scope for touching on the president's state of health.
The premier further wished Kovac to celebrate his 80th birthday at home.
Kovac, who is suffering from Parkinson's disease, has been in hospital for three weeks now.
