Bratislava, July 28 (TASR) - The Government's Manifesto, set to be submitted to Parliament on August 3, contains no radical reforms. "Reforms are not launched for the sake of reforms," Prime Minister Iveta Radicova said at a press conference on Wednesday.
According to Radicova, the Manifesto is designed to realistically address the social situation of citizens and the state of the economy. It also universalizes the responsibility and calls for increased efficiencies in order to help tackle the consequences of the crisis.
She also stressed that the Government refuses to put the entire burden on people, with the existing problems to be addressed by gradual measures rather than "shock therapy". She added that the Manifesto is in accordance with the election agenda and the promises made by the right-wing parties.
