Sulik: We Agreed to Include 22 OL Demands Into Manifesto, Not 100

Bratislava, July 28 (TASR) - Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party chairman Richard Sulik has had an agreement with SaS MP and member of the 'Ordinary People' (OL) faction Igor Matovic that 22 OL programme points will be included into the Government's Manifesto, with Sulik entitled to veto every additional one.

"There's more than 20 demands already included. However, Matovic showed up later on with more, and all of a sudden, it's 100," Sulik told TASR.

According to him, relations between the OL faction and the remaining SaS MPs will now depend on what kind of attitude OL plans to adopt. "We don't know what they're going to do next, but I think they don't know either, so we'll see," said Sulik, adding that SaS MP Martin Poliacik is holding talks with OL representative Jozef Viskupic about their programme.

The OL four led by Igor Matovic got into the Parliament on the SaS slate via preferential balloting. They are still part of the SaS caucus so far, but concede that walking out remains a possibility. If that happens, the Coalition will lose the majority at the Parliament, with only 75 votes at its disposal out of 150.
