Bratislava, July 27 (TASR) - Completion of the partially built Razsochy Hospital in Bratislava was in the end dropped from the Government Manifesto, two independent sources told TASR on Tuesday.
The draft of the Manifesto that leaked to the media from Premier Iveta Radicova's (SDKU-DS) office last week counted on the completion. In addition, Health Minister Ivan Uhliarik (Christian Democrats/KDH) also indicated earlier that construction work on the project on the outskirts of Bratislava will take place.
The construction of the facility, which should have included a training centre for doctors and pharmacists, was also promoted by former government headed by Robert Fico (Smer-SD), who wanted to carry out the project via public-private partnership.
The current main coalition party SDKU-DS while in opposition criticised primarily the cost of the project, which was assessed at some €480 million without VAT.
