SAV Appreciates Government's Decision To Increase Financial Support Of Science

Bratislava, July 24 (TASR) - The board of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) welcomes the approach of the new Government towards the support of science and education, said SAV director Jaromir Pastorek in reaction to working version of the government manifesto on Saturday.
"We consider it to be really important to create transparent and unquestionable system of identification of the top ranked scientific institutions and personalities," said Pastorek in connection to Government's plan to increase the financial aid for best scientific institutions and teams.
SAV also welcomes government's support of the co-operation of universities and other research institutions - SAV included.
