Radicova: We'll Publish Tender Contracts by End of August

Bratislava, July 15 (TASR) - The Government plans to publish contracts stemming from public procurements by the end of the summer, Prime Minister Iveta Radicova (SDKU-DS) said after an extraordinary government session on Thursday.
"By the end of August we'll publish a list of existing, not completed contracts," she said. According to the Government's decision, contracts signed during the first six months of 2010 and later all contracts signed by the former government of Robert Fico (Smer-SD) should also be made public.
The Cabinet also agreed to re-evaluate state administration salaries, with plans to look into bonuses paid after the parliamentary elections in June 2010.
Radicova also wants to re-evaluate contracts with trade unions. "In several cases they go beyond the law to an huge extent, with five-months compensation paid to employees who have worked for only two years," she added.
