Bratislava, July 14 (TASR) - Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Mikulas Dzurinda will leave for a working visit to the Czech Republic on Thursday, where he will meet his Czech counterpart Karl Schwarzenberg, Prime Minister Peter Necas and Parliamentary Chair Miroslava Nemcova, Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Peter Stano told TASR on Wednesday.
"It's absolutely obvious that my first working visit will involve heading to the Czech Republic. I'm glad that I can carry it out so soon after the appointment of the new Czech Government, as well as after taking up office myself. Relations with the Czech Republic are extremely important for us and it's in our interest to maintain and develop their above-standard quality. I'll do everything I can to achieve this," said Dzurinda.
Dzurinda has already met Schwarzenberg informally - in Bratislava on the day on which he took up his post, Saturday, July 10.
