Urbani Replaced at His Posts by Jan Kovarcik

Bratislava, December 9 (TASR) - LS-HZDS MP Jan Kovarcik became new chairman of the Parliamentary committee for European affairs on Wednesday after being elected by Parliament in a secret vote.
Kovarcik was on the same day appointed a member of the Permanent Parliamentary delegation in the Parliament Assembly of the Council of Europe, replacing his party colleague Milan Urbani, who was dismissed from these two posts by Parliament in the morning.
The changes were proposed by LS-HZDS chairman Vladimir Meciar after Urbani lost his party membership.
