Bratislava, June 24 (TASR) - Almost all future government posts have been already distributed among the centre-right parties SDKU-DS, the Freedom and Solidarity party (SaS), Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) and Most-Hid, according to SDKU-DS election leader Iveta Radicova, commenting on the ongoing discussions between the centre-right parties on Thursday.
Radicova also confirmed that parties hold some talks separately as well. "It's a natural part of a government-forming negotiations, particularly when dealing with parties that boast lots of high-quality and strong experts. This is a normal state of affairs," she said.
When asked whether sparks are flying between liberal SaS and conservative KDH, Radicova replied that spark-flying represents a good creative method. "That's beneficial also with couples, as there's no relationship without sparks. But they have a normal discussion about what's best course of action to take with respect to achieving desired results."
Radicova rejected rumours that ministries of economy and transport represent bone of contention for the emerging coalition. "There's also no problem with concentration of power in the hands of a single party," she claimed, adding that powers will be distributed among the coalition members in a fair way.
Radicova also said that she hopes the negotiations will come to a conclusion later on Thursday. "We're proceeding with incredible pace, given that the talks started only yesterday. In comparison with the Czech Republic, we're going forwards incredibly fast," she said.
