Bratislava, December 9 (TASR) - Slovak Parliament in a secret vote on Wednesday elected Judita Dubjelova, LS-HZDS chair Vladimir Meciar's nominee, for a judge of the disciplinary court.
Dubjelova was supported by 65 out of 129 MPs, which means that the election was decided by one vote.
Besides Dubjelova, no other judge out of 19 candidates received the needed majority of votes of MPs present. Nine out of ten posts of the disciplinary court judges, who assesses the conduct of judges and penalises them, failed to be elected for the third time in a row.
