Bratislava, December 8 (TASR) - The opposition parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) party on Tuesday unveiled a new consulting body called Konzilium KDH that features around fifty experts experienced in governing such as former party chief Jan Carnogursky (Slovak premier 1991-92) and former KDH lawmakers.
"The country requires competent policies and solutions - economic and social responses that can assist overall ... and especially return Slovakia to growth," said incumbent party chairman Jan Figel.
Bratislava Mayor Andrej Durkovsky, who has been chosen as chairman of the new body, says that the Konzilium, which will meet monthly, is scheduled to present the KDH programme for the June 2010 parliamentary election by February.
