Tender on D3 Highway Violated the Law and Needs to Be Cancelled

Bratislava, June 10 (TASR) - During the inspection of tender procedures with respect to the construction of the D3 highway section between Strazov and Brodno in Zilina region, the Public Procurement Office (UVO) found a number of violations of the Act on Public Procurement that might have had a significant influence on the tender results.
Hence, UVO ordered the National Highway Company (NDS) to cancel the aforementioned tender within 30 days after NDS receives notification of the decision. UVO carried out the inspection due to a request made by the Transport, Posts and Telecommunications Ministry.
