Economy Ministry to Transfer Tourism Section to Culture Ministry

Bratislava, June 9 (TASR) - The Economy Ministry will transfer its tourism section to the Culture Ministry under an inter-ministerial agreement designed to further the EU Operating Programme Competitiveness and Economic Growth Operations, according to a report submitted to the Government on Wednesday.
The transfer includes all related powers, 29 staff, €1.12 million for salaries, €92,320 worth of state assets, and the renaming of the Culture Ministry as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
