Seagle Air Will Most Likely Lose Licence

Bratislava, December 7 (TASR) - The Slovak airline company Seagle Air will most likely lose its licence, private television channel Markiza reported in its evening newscast on Monday.

The airlines announced in October that it has got into financial troubles. The Transport, Posts and Telecommunications Ministry, which had sent an inspection to the company, confirmed that it has found technical and financial shortcomings.

Seagle Air director declined to comment on the situation. At the same time, the company announced that it negotiates with an unspecified investor in order to maintain its spot on the market.

The company said on October 22 that it is suspending all of its charter flights planned for the immediate future. "The reason for this decision is that the Italian partner Skyone Italy Airlines hasn't fulfilled up to this moment the contract for the use of our planes for the flights from Italy," said the company.
