Memo on Single European Sky in Central Europe Signed in Bratislava

Bratislava, November 18 (TASR) - Memorandum of Understanding of Functional Airspace Block Central Europe was signed in Bratislava on Wednesday by representatives of seven European countries - Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Slovenia.
The Memorandum is part of implementation of the Regulation No. 549/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 March 2004 laying down the framework for the creation of the single European sky, or airspace.
The document, which was signed on Slovakia's behalf by Transport Ministry's civil aviation and ship transport section general director Jan Breja, prepares structures for an agreement that will regulate the provision of air navigation services.
