KDH: EPP Congress in Bonn to Decide on Figel's Vice-chair Bid

Bratislava, December 7 (TASR) - The congress of the European People's Party (EPP) that is to take place in the German city of Bonn later this week will decide whether Slovakia's Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) head Jan Figel will get the post of a EPP vice-chair, TASR was told by KDH spokesman Martin Krajcovic on Monday.
According to Krajcovic, Figel is to leave to Bonn on Tuesday along with a delegation of the party. The spokesman noted that Slovak parties SDKU-DS and SMK, which are also members of the EPP, have already promised to support Figel's bid.
