Fair-Play Alliance Launches Chase After Politicians on Facebook

Bratislava, May 31 (TASR) - Less than two weeks ahead of the general election (June 12), the Fair-Play Alliance said Monday that it wants to have as many politicians as possible take part in its 'Politikaopen' project involving their property and possible areas where conflicts of interest may emerge.
Zuzana Wienk of the Alliance also announced that the NGO has launched a Facebook initiative 'Hon na politikov' (Chase After Politicians). She called for the public to write on politician's 'Facebook walls' or send them private messages with appeals to join the Politikaopen project.
"Before elections politicians care about voters the most, so we have a unique chance to force them to raise the bar in terms of transparency," said Wienk.
