Paska: Local Elections Will Take Place on November 27

Bratislava, May 19 (TASR) - Elections to the local administration councils will take place on November 27, 2010, Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Paska announced at a session of the Slovak Towns and Villages (ZMOS) on Wednesday.
"The Slovak Constitution guarantees Slovak citizens the right to participate in the public administration directly or via plebiscite of their representatives," said Paska.
Paska at the same time expressed thanks to representatives of Slovak Towns and Villages for the past four years of co-operation and wished those who decided to run for re-election the best of luck in fulfilling their goals.
